How to join the crew

Step 1: Choose Your Expediton

You don’t grow on vacation. You grow when you take on something that scares you a little—and changes you a lot.

Choose your expedition based on the skills you want to develop and the edges you’re ready to push. These aren’t cookie-cutter trips. They’re limited-crew experiences designed to challenge you, train you, and shift how you see the world—and yourself.

Spots are few. Most people talk about doing something like this someday. A few just do it.

Step 2: Secure Your Crew POsition

Spaces aboard SV Indie Sky are limited — only a small crew is accepted for each voyage.

Secure your Crew positon with a $500 deposit. This holds your spot while we complete the interview process.

We’re selective because crew dynamics and readiness matter. If it’s not the right fit, your deposit is fully refunded.

If it is, you’ll be part of a small team of adventurers stepping beyond comfort zones into an experience that’s truly life-changing.

Step 3: Ace your Interview

We take crew selection seriously—because We take YOU seriously.

We invest a huge amount of time, energy, and resources into each expedition, and even more into the crew/people who make it possible. After thousands of hours spent in close quarters—on both boats and planes—we’ve learned how powerful (and how fragile) crew dynamics can be. That’s why we put real thought into building teams where trust, challenge, and support coexist.

This isn’t a packaged tour. It’s a curated, life-changing experience designed to push edges and create stories you’ll carry for the rest of your life.

Once we receive your deposit we’ll schedule a short video call. It’s our chance to hear about your goals and what kind of experience you’re looking for. It’s also how we make sure the vibe is right—for you and for the rest of the crew.

Spots are limited and we turn down more people than we accept. But if you’re ready for something real, this might be the beginning of the best decision you’ve made in years.

Step 4: Sign a Waiver

Before you come aboard, make sure you understand what it means to be Crew on SV Indie Sky.
Review the details carefully — this isn’t just a ride, it’s a hands-on, full-participation adventure.
