Crew Packing List

Pack Light & Pack Smart

Storage space is limited on board. Please pack in a small, soft duffle or dry bag — no hard suitcases or wheeled luggage. 

Expect air temps in the 70s–90s°F (21–32°C) and sea temps in the high 70s to mid 80s°F (25–29°C). Lightweight, quick-dry, and sun-protective clothing is key.

⚓ On Deck

  • Closed-toe deck shoes (required – no flip-flops on deck). Deck shoes cannot be worn on shore.


  • Hat(s) for sun protection (wide brim recommended, chin strap recommended).


  • Sunglasses x 2  (polarized preferred)


  • UV Protectant Top- Fishing shirt or long sleeve rash guard


  • Reef Friendly Sunscreen 


  • 1 Pair of sailing gloves

Clothing

Clothing (Keep it Light!)

  • Underwear (as much as you’ll need)
     
  • Swimwear ×2–3
     
  • Quick-dry shorts ×2–4
     
  • T-shirts ×3–4
     
  • Long-sleeved shirts (sun protection or warmth) ×1–2
     
  • Light pants (quick-dry or hiking style) ×1–2
     
  • Light fleece or mid-layer (it can get cool at night) ×1
     
  • Flip Flops or Sandals for shore x 1 pair


  • Shoes that you can hike or 1 wheel in x 1 pair


  • Socks x 4 pairs


  • Light windbreaker (optional) x 1

Other

  • Fins x1 pair (Try it all on at a dive shop)


  • Mask x1 pair (Try it all on at a dive shop)


  • Snorkel x1
     
  • Swim fin socks x1 pair (optional)


  • Beach Towel x1  


  • Camera Gear


  • Personal Toiletries (We provide eco-friendly soap, shampoo, and conditioner onboard. However, if you have specific brands or products you prefer, feel free to bring your own.)


  • Foulies if on an Atlantic Crossing from West to East or sailing in the Mediterranean between October 1 and May 1.



🚫 What Not to Bring

  • Wheeled bags, hard suitcases, or trunk-sized duffels
     
  • Large quantities of toiletries or gear you won’t use daily
     
  • Non-biodegradable or non-reef friendly sunscreen


  • Drugs that are not researched as legal in the countries we'll be sailing to

  • Personal Flotation Device (PFD) with integrated harness & tether
