Required Travel Documents
🛂 1. Passport (Required)
- Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
- Some countries will deny entry if the passport is expiring soon, even if you have a return ticket.
🛃 2. Entry Visas (If Required by Destination)
- Some countries require a visa in advance, while others offer visa-on-arrival or visa-free entry based on nationality.
- Check entry requirements for each country on the itinerary.
- Examples:
- U.S. citizens often get visa-free or visa-on-arrival in Caribbean and many European countries.
- Schengen Area (e.g., Spain, France) allows 90 days of visa-free travel within 180 days for many nationalities.

📝 3. Proof of Return or Onward Travel
- Some countries (especially in the Caribbean) require proof you’re leaving the country — which can be a return flight or a cruising itinerary signed by the SV Indie Sky Captain.
- In lieu of a ticket, the captain may need to prepare a departure clearance plan or itinerary letter.
📄 4. Maritime Crew List (Prepared by SV Indie Sky Captain)
- A manifest listing names, nationalities, passport numbers, and roles of everyone on board.
- Required for clearance into and out of ports.
- Must be updated and submitted at each country’s customs and immigration office.
