Nassau, Bahamas to Saint George, Bermuda

Introduction to Offshore Sailing & Liveaboard Life - 8+ DAYS

A picture of a Wingaker parasailor deployed on SV Indie Sky a Lagoon 46 catamaran.

Tropical Offshore Passagemaking

Set sail from the turquoise shallows of the Bahamas and chart a course into the deep blue of the Atlantic on the first leg of an unforgettable transoceanic journey.

This passage is more than a crossing — it’s a transformation. You'll take part in every step of the preparation: checking rigging, routing the weather, stowing provisions, and stepping into the mindset required for serious offshore sailing. As the coral reefs of the Bahamas fade behind you, the rhythm of open-ocean life begins to take hold.

After several days at sea, Bermuda rises from the horizon like a gem — a volcanic outcrop rimmed with pink sand beaches, limestone cliffs, and colorful towns. It’s a fitting waypoint for sailors drawn to both adventure and beauty.

⛵ Who It’s For

This trip is ideal for:

  • Sailors aiming to strengthen their sailing resume to meet bareboat charter or insurance requirements

  • Students looking to gain the experience & training required to earn certifications, licenses, or endorsements

  • Future liveaboards interested in experiencing blue water passages and long-term life at sea

  • Divers, Freedivers, Kiteboarders, Wingers, Foilers, Fishermen, Lobster Grabbers

  • Sailors who want to learn how to operate internationally

Crew who wish to continue the journey from Bermuda to cross the Atlantic to the Azores will receive a discount on the next leg. Whether you're testing your limits or chasing a dream, this first passage is your gateway to bluewater confidence and the open ocean lifestyle.

  • Watch rotation & night sailing

You won’t just observe — you’ll be part of the crew, participating in all aspects of the voyage.
