This island-hopping expedition through the Bahamas is built around real seamanship, not a fixed itinerary. We depart Spanish Wells and let wind, weather, and sea state determine our route through the Exumas and surrounding islands. Crew are active participants in every decision. Weather modeling, route selection, tidal planning, fuel and water management, anchoring strategy, and daily risk assessment are taught and applied in real time.
Onboard, you learn how to safely and confidently operate a modern 46-foot blue-water catamaran. Sail handling, watch standing, systems management, docking and anchoring, energy and water conservation, provisioning, and maintenance are all covered with the goal of building real competence. This is how full-time liveaboard sailors actually operate.
Between passages, we slow down and play. Freediving over reefs, wing-foiling and surfing when conditions allow, swimming in clear shallows, and exploring remote anchorages are part of the rhythm. Adventure is balanced with education.
You arrive in Turks and Caicos with practical offshore skills, a clear understanding of liveaboard life, and the confidence that comes from real experience—bringing you significantly closer to crewing or skippering your own future adventures.
