Future Liveaboard / Bare boat Skipper Training

Learn Weather & Passage Planning

his expedition begins in Georgetown and builds steadily from island sailing into a true offshore, international passage. ⛵🔥

Early legs focus on anchoring, shallow-water navigation, and crew coordination through the southern Exumas and remote Bahamian out islands. As protection fades, the emphasis shifts to weather routing, passage planning, watch standing, and operating the boat as a complete system.

Mid-expedition, the crew transitions into international operations. Exit procedures, documentation, flag etiquette, and border-crossing protocols are handled in real time. This is not theoretical training. It’s how offshore travel actually works.

The final offshore leg delivers a clean landfall in Providenciales. Careful navigation across shallow banks and shifting color leads into South Bank Marina. ⚓

Clear in, secure the boat, and debrief the passage.

This trip is designed to turn capable sailors into confident offshore crew. New water. New country. Real skills earned along the way. 🌊🏝️

⛵ Who It’s For

  • Sailors aiming to strengthen their resume to meet bareboat charter or insurance requirements

  • Sailors looking to gain the experience  required to earn certifications, licenses, or endorsements

  • Crew looking for the unique experience of crossing the Gulfstream

  • Crew looking for an introduction to international operations and the realities of checking in and out of foreign countries
